Located on a pastel-infused esplanade in the scenic beauty of Ballyholme, Bangor, this family home is more than just a dwelling; it’s a vibrant celebration of the surrounding landscape and a heartfelt homage to the homeowners’ Scottish heritage.

[dropcap style=”square”]A[/dropcap]s we step into the narrative of this property, homeowner Imogen warmly welcomes us to explore the nooks and crannies that speak volumes about individuality and a deep connection to both land and sea. ‘We moved in three years ago this Christmas, coming back from Scotland after 30 years,’ Imogen begins. ‘My husband, originally from Edinburgh, insisted on a house with a really nice view and that’s exactly what we have here as we look over the sea.’ The couple share the home with their 19-year-old daughter. It’s a four-bed terrace with an ensuite, bathroom, three living areas and a kitchen/study/dining space. As we settle into the conversation, Imogen sheds light on the inspiration behind their sea-front property. ‘There’s a theme,’ she asserts, referencing the seafront location that is evident in everything from the colour scheme to artwork.
