A Gentle Restoration, Designed to Be Enjoyed

In the Wicklow hills, The Granary at Munny Farm is a beautifully restored granite barn that has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind holiday retreat.

[dropcap style=”square”]S[/dropcap]et along the well-known Wicklow Way near Shillelagh, The Granary is the kind of place that feels completely rooted in its surroundings. With ancient woodland from the original Coolattin Estate, beautiful walled gardens, sheep and lambs grazing outside and far-reaching views, the setting is peaceful and deeply connected to the landscape around it. The property started out as a granite farm building, built around 1800 on a Georgian farm. Today, it forms part of the wider Munny House offering in Coolkenno, County Wicklow, where guests can stay among fields, horses, ponies and woodland, and experience a slower, more grounded pace of life. The story of The Granary is closely tied to the wider story of Munny Farm itself. Belinda Bielenberg, who runs Munny Trail and Old Forge Glamping with her husband Lorcan, first started the glamping business in 2013.
