This amazing house nestled in a leafy suburb of Dublin is an example of architecture at its finest. It was designed by Chartered Architect Gareth Maguire; it marries a strong classical feel at the front with a modern, contemporary look at the back.

[dropcap style=”square”]V[/dropcap]eronica and Frank’s journey began when they were looking for a new house, that would be spacious enough with a large garage. Nothing fulfilled their wish list, until they spotted a 1950’s two storey house, in the perfect location. Veronica says, ‘We found that none of the houses we saw worked. This house came up, we looked at it, and realised this would be a big project. A definite knockdown, planning and build. I had past experience of renovations and building, so I knew it was going to be a lengthy project. When Frank asked about a specific time scale, I laughed as I knew well that planning rarely gets granted first time. Little did we know a pandemic would cause a huge delay. But I believed building a new house would allow us to have our dream home one day built to our specifications. We do and I am thrilled.’
