Baking Together

Meet Gosia Bruen, one of the founders of online Irish baking community Bruni Bakery, who shares some of her recipes with us this month.

[dropcap style=”square”]O[/dropcap]riginally from Poland, Gosia came to Ireland to study at Trinity College Dublin 17 years ago as an exchange student, where she met her husband and Bruni Bakery co-founder, John, who hails from Sligo in the West of Ireland. ‘After I completed my economics degree, I got a job with Guinness, where I worked for 12 years. However, my daughter Helen, who is now nine years old, was only four at the time and I was working long hours and decided to take a break from work to spend more time with her. I originally thought this would be six to 12 months, but I discovered a love for baking and this led to setting up Bruni Bakery,’ explains Gosia.
