A New Lease of Life

[dropcap style=”square”]K[/dropcap]evin purchased this beautiful Georgian property in early 2019; although he was already living nearby, a keen gardener, he wanted a house with a south-westerly facing garden. ‘Alistair Hickey from estate agency Felicity Fox lined up three properties for me to view, two were in good condition and then there was this one – now I have to say here that I am always attracted to houses that I can beautifully restore, if you can see the sky through the roof that’s a good starting point for me! This place was in very poor condition and instantly I was excited about it! From day one I could imagine what I could do with this house and pictured myself living in it. Everything fitted together perfectly in my head.
