[dropcap style=”square”]W[/dropcap]elcome to the February issue of Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living – our first of 2026. Packed full of ideas and advice to inspire you to see familiar faces in a new light and set the tone for the year ahead.
Our homes section features four beautiful and unique properties from across the island. We step inside property stager Sheelgh Wright’s Edwardian home in Belfast, where period elegance meets contemporary restraint. In Louth, a modern reimagining of an Irish cottage shows how thoughtful updates can honour tradition while embracing modern living. We visit a terrace house in Donegal that appears deceptively ordinary from the street, yet reveals a richly characterful interior within. Over in Stillorgan, we explore a bold, design-driven renovation that demonstrates the power of confident choices and careful planning.
We have a special feature on flooring, as well as ideas for creating a truly cosy home as winter lingers, and a Colours of the Year feature offers inspiration for refreshing your spaces with hues that feel both grounding and uplifting.
Property flipper Carly Anderson shares her final column, reflecting on lessons learned and offering parting advice for anyone considering their own property flip, and Fiona O’Malley explores how the spaces around us influence our mood, reminding us that design has a profound impact on our wellbeing.
As always, you’ll find inspiration beyond the home, with our regular travel, gardening and cookery sections bringing ideas to nurture creativity and comfort as we move slowly toward spring.
Don’t forget to follow us on social media and subscribe to our podcast for additional exclusive content and competitions.
Enjoy.
