Welcome

[dropcap style=”square”]T[/dropcap]his month we focus on seating options, highlighting a selection of our favourite armchairs for indoors and a variety of lounging options for your outdoor living. We also indulge in luxurious bathing spaces with a variety of high end products and elegant finishes to help you achieve that five-star hotel look in your own home.
Our readers’ homes include Rob and Janice’s architectural self-build in Co. Antrim which recently claimed the winning title of Home of the Year in the RTÉ series of the same name. Making the most of its beautiful surroundings and stunning views it certainly wowed the judges, as it did us. Another stunning self-build is that of Henry and Katie who let us in for a closer look at their Co. Mayo home. After two self-builds we got to see the results of two renovations in Co. Down and Ardmore, Co. Waterford. While very different in their styling, both homes have been lovingly updated in order to meet the lifestyle needs of their owners.
In our living section we feature recipes from Denis Cotter, owner and head chef at renowned plant-based Cork restaurant Paradiso. Denis’ latest cookbook simply called ‘Paradiso’ offers delicious recipes for you to try at home and would also make a lovely coffee table addition. Regular columnist Marty O’Neill heads to Alicante, I get the chance to recount my time at the luxurious Ashford Castle, and Justin and Jenny Green the owners of Ballyvolane House in Cork, recommend the best things to see and do in their part of Ireland. Enjoy!
