Chic Social Space

When Tracy embarked on her kitchen renovation journey, she envisioned transforming her 25-year-old pine kitchen into a contemporary social space suitable for her family of six. Inspired by Mountfield Kitchen’s showroom, the transformation was an aesthetic rethink of the layout to create a more open, light-filled environment.

[dropcap style=”square”]T[/dropcap]racy’s goal was clear from the start: update the old pine kitchen to something more suitable for her family’s needs. ‘The house is 25 years old, so we had an old pine kitchen all of that time,’ she begins. ‘We changed the layout, knocked through walls, let light in, and went from a small space to something much more suitable for our four boys. The whole change in living circumstances made us want a more social space, with softer colours.’
