The Salvage Squad

[dropcap style=”square”]V[/dropcap]irgin Media Television’s new show, The Salvage Squad, will see a team of sustainable interior designers, up-cyclers and tradespeople on a mission to transform Ireland’s tired old rooms into trendy spaces fit for modern living. With a maximum of €1,000 to spend they must only use second hand, free-cycled, salvaged, up-cycled, homemade, or pre-used furniture, materials and accessories to create dream rooms in just three days.

IHIL caught up with host Brian Dowling to chat about the show and how it’s impacted his own views on interior design and sustainability.
