Jackie Carton, Creative Director at Carton Interiors, shares a few home truths.
[dropcap style=”square”]M[/dropcap]y home is… The retreat from everything. Running a business is very full on and the work never stops. So I love coming home to my family and breathe a sigh of relief when I drive down our road. Being an interior design architect was undoubtedly an advantage when we extended our home about 15 years ago. I still feel the benefit of having space planned it really well so that the rooms have good proportions and flow nicely together. We need to replace the windows this year though, so an interiors refresh is on the horizon too. I’m very passionate about interiors and have been fortunate to work with some amazing clients and developers to create beautiful homes. I’m so conscious of the myriad of fabulous furnishings available but it’s led to decision paralysis when it comes to my own space. I’m my own worst client!
