Malahide
[dropcap style=”square”]M[/dropcap]alahide is a pretty town in County Dublin that is about ten miles north of Dublin City Centre. A beautiful marina and velvet strand is very popular with swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. If you prefer staying on dry land, Malahide offers an excellent selection of great restaurants too.
Things to See & Do:
One of the highlights of Malahide is Malahide Castle and Demesne that is located just a short walk from the train station. The castle has recently undergone an ambitious redevelopment plan that has reasserted it as one of the top tourist destinations in the country.
