[dropcap style=”square”]J[/dropcap]ulie turned a weather beaten cottage near Bantry in West Cork into a restful retreat that makes the most of the coastal views.
It was love at first sight when Julie, originally from Liverpool and of Irish descent, set eyes on this cottage in West Cork on the beautiful Sheep’s Head Peninsula. ‘I had always loved Ireland particularly the coast of Cork, and was keen to buy a holiday home in the area, I contacted a few estate agents but nothing ticked the right boxes. Eventually I abandoned my search and then, months later, I received an email from an agent featuring details of a rather run down cottage near Bantry.
