Naomi and Conor bought this house in a north Dublin suburb in 2012 when it had been on the market for a year and the price had dropped. ‘I was still living at home, both Conor and I were brought up in the area and our family are here, so we really wanted to live nearby,’ says Naomi. ‘I loved this house, which had a lovely 1930s feel and was in the right location, but it was in need of renovation and we couldn’t afford the asking price if we had to do the work too.’
