[dropcap style=”square”]P[/dropcap]aul and Jen wanted a modern kitchen that embodied a softness and warmth for their new-build home in Belfast. Step forward Parkes Interiors who created a beautiful design that encompasses all of these elements.
This is a new build so we had a blank canvas,’ explains Jen. ‘We wanted a large open-plan area and were fortunate enough to have plenty of space to play with. Getting light into our new home was paramount and the location of the kitchen/dining room was positioned with the movement of the sun very much in mind. The kitchen in our previous house was wooden and we both decided we wanted a change which was lighter and fresher.’
