You’re So Dramatic!

[dropcap style=”square”]B[/dropcap]ig, bold, showy plants can inject drama and interest in addition to explosions of bright colour above all the other planting in the garden. Plants like these can almost sound ‘loud’, in a similar way to the loudness of the brass section of an orchestra. Brass instruments can play louder than any other in the orchestra and can also be heard from far away. In a similar way, brassy plants demand your attention, they’re difficult to ignore and they’re in your face. I’ve put together a list of some of my favourite ostentatious plants to use if you want to add oomph to your garden.
