Tim and Lynn replaced a rundown bungalow in Holywood, Co. Down with a two-storey home perfectly suited to their lifestyle needs.

[dropcap style=”square”]L[/dropcap]ooking for their forever home in which to enjoy their retirement, Tim and Lynn came across a chalet bungalow a stone’s throw away from the coast in Holywood, County Down. As Lynn explains, ‘When we purchased the site there was an existing old chalet bungalow which was riddled with rising damp and dry rot, so we made the decision to knock this down and working with our architect set to work designing a new two-storey home that suited our needs perfectly.’
