This stunning Co. Down townhouse needed a design that would suit its current purpose as a base for travelling, as well as being suitable for retirement.

[dropcap style=”square”]T[/dropcap]his homeowner divides his time between Sydney, Australia, and Ireland and wanted a base for when travelling. Located in the coastal village of Groomsport, Co. Down, the property will also be his future retirement home so it needed a design with longevity and the scope to evolve without too much extra effort. Working with Michelle Henry at Skollop Design, he set the brief for a modern home that had elements of Australian design, pops of colour, masculinity and modern technology throughout.
