In Broad Street, which runs directly through the city centre, there’s an abundance of sights to explore. For those with a magpie eye there is duty-free shopping in exquisite stores to get a little something special for yourself or someone back home. For those interested in the history of the island, there are intriguing sights to behold, such as the Neo-Gothic Parliament Buildings. Built between 1870-1874, it is the third oldest Parliament building in the Commonwealth in which both the House Assembly and the Senate meet weekly for conferences.
