Wijdenes, Netherlands

For something a bit different, nestled in a small scale goat farm in the north of the Netherlands are luxury tents for hire in a glamping style site. There are two types of tents on offer here; the Feather Down tent sleeps up to six people and you can even cook inside the tent, or if the weather permits you can use the outdoor kitchen! The Frill Tents are the more luxurious option, where you will find double beds and a hammock, with a special surprise on arrival. Historically, this small-scale goat farm was once a dairy farm for more than 150 years, and now that it has been transformed into a goat farm and cheese factory, the family who runs the farm tries to maximise self sufficiency and sustainable farming.
