Things to see and do Bondi Beach, surrounding the suburban area of Sydney, is a very popular location to visit. Spanning about one kilometre, the beach is very popular with surfers as the waves are rated a four out of ten on the hazardous scale. However, the southern side of the beach is rated a seven, making the waters there only available mainly for surf goers. Nonetheless, the sun shines warmly on the beach most days of the year, and a cool breeze carries off the tide making Bondi Beach an almost unmissable location for those holidaying in Sydney.
