Switch off in Donegal

Located on St John’s Point lighthouse are two lightkeepers cottages, the SJ Schooner and Clipper, maintained by the Irish Landmark Trust and available to rent all year round. The truly stunning location is the main attraction of the cottages, with the views across Donegal Bay towards Sligo and beyond providing the perfect backdrop for either a walk along the beach at sunrise or to cosy up by the fire and watch the sunset. While the mobile network may be patchy and wifi non existent, the wild landscape and fresh sea air are a more than able substitute, if only for a day or two.
