A New Lease of Life
[dropcap style=”square”]T[/dropcap]his renovated stable is now a lovingly restored Dublin city centre home for Simon, Jo and their daughter Freja.
Five minutes from Grafton Street, this former stable in a back lane quickly caught the eye of serial renovator Simon. ‘Although the upstairs had long been in residential use, the ground floor had various incarnations as a workshop, gallery and lately, café, and I loved that quirky urban mix of industrial and living space,’ he says. ‘I also liked the idea of city living after years in suburban Dublin, and you couldn’t get more city-centre than this.’
