[dropcap style=”square”]N[/dropcap]orth Mayo is rich in culture, friendly locals and an incredible natural beauty. Visiting Ballina, the largest town in North Mayo, at the end of the restrictions was awesome enjoying local music and craic, great food and wonderful hospitality not to mention the rugged rocky landscape that I have become accustomed to since arriving on the West Coast of Ireland. With just 48 hours in the area I was hard pushed to choose between all on offer, but given the time of year I decided to do a spot of touring around and to take in some of the history and culture
the area has to offer.
