[dropcap style=”square”]O[/dropcap]liver and Kathryn from Dublin wanted a well styled kitchen with a classic contemporary twist. After a glowing recommendation from their interior designer, the couple visited Newcastle Design who designed a kitchen which completely transformed the space into a stunning open-plan living area and fulfilled all their needs.

The house was a 1930s build and hadn’t really been touched by the previous owners when we bought it,’ explains Kathryn. ‘The kitchen was basically located in the side passage and was not in a very good state so we had no choice but to change it. We began renovating the whole house and extended out the back to make an open-plan kitchen and living area.
