Making a space your own is all in the detail, which is exactly what Ediana and Kevin have achieved their Westmeath home.

[dropcap style=”square”]W[/dropcap]hen Ediana Dolan, a stay at home mum currently studying interior design, first set eyes on this three bedroom detached house in Killucan County Westmeath, her dream was to create a space that she and her husband, Kevin, a design manager, and their two children Oisin, eight and Caoimhe, five, could call home. The house was within the couple’s budget, it had a south facing garden and had the added bonus of being in walking distance of the local school. Although it didn’t need any structural work it was, however, in need of a makeover, ‘It had previously been rented out, it was a sea of magnolia and pine, something had to be done,’ explains Ediana.
