[dropcap style=”square”]T[/dropcap]his elegantly restored town house, dating from 1882, is now a stylish and comfortable home with a beautiful garden, owned by T.J. and Simon. The house and award winning garden are known as Patthana.

‘Back in 1992 we were living in rented accommodation in Dublin and were keen to escape the city and buy somewhere of our own when my mother spotted an ad in the Evening Herald for a property in Kiltegan’, says Simon. ‘We hadn’t arranged a viewing but were intrigued enough to go and have a look. A glimpse over a wall to a ramshackle garden replete with bull finches and other birds was enough to win us over’.
