Tyrone and the Sperrin Mountains hold a special charm, particularly for those with a passion for the outdoors. Some of the most beautiful sections of the Ulster Way pass through the county and are a must see for walkers. One of the main attractions is the Ulster American Folk Park near Omagh which brings to life the story of Irish emigration to the New World. During your visit to the Ulster American Folk Park you will experience an adventure taking you from the thatched cottages of Ulster, onboard a full scale emigrant sailing ship, to the log cabins of the American Frontier.
