My Home: Tuam, Co. Galway

Broadcaster and writer Barbara Collins takes us on a tour of the place she calls home.

[dropcap style=”square”]M[/dropcap]y name is Barbara Collins. I am married to Martin Cunniffe. We have three children. John is 14, Clara is 10 and Sam is five. We live on a farm in Clonberne, north Galway. It is very rural and the nearest town is Tuam, which I would consider to be ‘The Big Smoke’. The landscape described by the Saw Doctors in their N17 song is accurate – ‘stone walls and the grass is green’.
